Who we are

Vantoak is a marketing services business operated by Xander Harris in Fayette County, Georgia, USA. You can reach us by phone or text at 770-560-7510 or through the contact page.

What we collect and why

1. Contact form submissions

If you send a message through the contact form, we receive the information you type: your name, email address, phone number and business name if you give them, the service you're interested in, and your message. We use it to reply to you and, if we work together, to plan that work. It is stored in a database on our hosting provider (Cloudflare) so we don't lose it, and may be forwarded to our email. We do not sell it or share it with anyone else, except providers who process it on our behalf (listed below).

The form is protected against automated spam by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process technical information about your browser to decide whether a submission is automated. Turnstile is covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Please don't include passwords, payment card numbers, or your customers' personal records in a message. We don't need them to start a conversation.

2. Essential cookie

The site sets one first-party cookie, vt_consent, only after you make a choice in the cookie banner. It records whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics and is kept for 180 days. Without it, we couldn't remember your answer. It contains no personal information.

3. Optional analytics (off by default)

If, and only if, you accept analytics in the cookie banner, the site records two things:

• Phone button clicks. When you tap a phone number on the site, we record that a click happened, on which page, and the time. We do not record who you are or whether a call was completed. A click is not a call.
• Page views, through Google Analytics, if a Google Analytics ID has been configured. At the time of this update, no Google Analytics ID is configured, so no Google Analytics code loads.

You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie preferences" in the footer. Rejecting is as easy as accepting and has no effect on how the site works.

4. Hosting and security logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare records technical information about requests, such as IP address, requested page, browser type, and timing, for security and reliability. We use this only to keep the site running and to investigate abuse. Cloudflare's handling of this data is described in its own privacy policy.

5. Phone and text

If you call or text us, your number and messages are handled by our phone provider under its own terms, and we keep them to reply to you.

What we don't do

• No advertising pixels or third-party tracking scripts load on this site.
• No data is sold, rented, or shared for marketing.
• No cross-site tracking or fingerprinting by us.

Providers who may process your data

• Cloudflare — hosting, form storage, spam protection (Turnstile), and security logs.
• Google Analytics — page-view analytics, only if you accept analytics and only if an Analytics ID has been configured.
• Our phone and email providers — to receive and reply to your messages.

Retention

Contact form messages are kept as long as needed to reply and to support any work we do together, then deleted on request or during periodic cleanup. Analytics events are kept in aggregate form. The consent cookie expires after 180 days.

Your choices

• Use the site without accepting analytics; nothing optional loads unless you say so.
• Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call, text, or use the contact form. We'll confirm what we did.
• Georgia residents and others may have rights under applicable law; we'll honor reasonable requests regardless of where you are.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If the site's data practices change, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Material changes, such as adding a new tracking tool, will also change what the cookie banner asks you.
